With the first examples of 2011 BMW 535i and 550i Sedans already in the hands of the enthusiasts, the Bavarian premium brand for sporty rides is now exclusively announcing the pricing and availability for the xDrive variants of the new, sixth-generation 5 Series. Price-tagged at $52,775 and $62,875, including $875 Destination and Handling tax, the 535i xDrive and 550i xDrive are approximately $2300 more expensive than their traditional rear-wheel drive counterparts.

As BMW is getting near to the 25th anniversary of its high-performance M3 ride, the renowned Bavarian brand is launching a specially-packed 2011 M3 Frozen Gray Coupe for the US market. Limited to only 30 examples, the exclusive BMW M3 Frozen Gray Coupe is distinguished by a ultra-stylish matte-gray paint job and unique Fox Red / Black bi-color high-end leather interior finish.
The specially-styled M3 will be available for order from Monday and the ride’s first deliveries are planned for the end of June.

Jeff Koons unveiled his Art Car, which is based on BMW M3 GT2. It was homologated to take part at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France on June 12-13, 2010.

BMW 5 Series F10 passes first crash test using brake intervention system. The test have been made at the facility of the Deutscher Kraftfahrzeug-Überwachungs-Verein (DEKRA) in Neumünster near Hamburg.
